El hdmi 2.1 es para jugar a 4k/120fps, si solo quieres jugar a 60fps, no es necesario. Sólo debes ver si tu tele tiene 60hz el cual casi todas las teles 4k lo traen.

si, 2.1 para los juegos 4k 120fps al mismo tiempo, es decir para muy pocos juegos. Podrias por ejemplo jugar a 1080 120fps con 2.0
El HDMI 2.0 es para 4k y 60 fps, da para transferir hasta 18gb/s, pero en ps5 deben haber juegos que aunque no vayan a 4k y 120 hz, tal vez necesiten más de 18gb/s, y para esos juegos se necesitaria tener HDMI 2.1, no solo el HDMI 2.1 es para 4k y 120 hz, ese sería el tope, algo asi pienso que debería funcionar.
